This is supposed to be the season of goodwill for God's sake!

Continuing my recent rants about the society we live in and today’s seemingly uncontrollable youth, I note with horror yet another case of the “don’t give a shit” attitude exhibited by that sector.

Following the death of Stephen Langford, the 43 year old who was kicked to death in his Henley-on-Thames home town in the early hours of Saturday morning, police are continuing to question two teenagers arrested on suspicion of his murder.

Officers are looking for a gang of four or five males and are questioning the two youths, aged 17 and 18.

Mr Langford is described as a quiet man with a young daughter. He had been out for a drink with a friend on Friday night and was attacked near Henley police station at approximately 1:45 on Saturday morning.

A CCTV camera is trained on the spot where the attack happened and I for one hope the footage is clear enough for police to make further arrests. I also hope the law throws the book at these scum, but won’t be holding my breath!
