Seems the hot topic is whether to post personal material on blogs or not: well here's another twist.

Some of the comments posted here in blogland are quite enlightening, while others are frankly disturbing or even insulting. I tend to avoid blogs and comments of that nature and have reported more than one in my time.

As it goes, I blogged elsewhere before coming to blog.co.uk and moved here simply because I didn't like what was going on. Having paid for a Pro account here I intend staying and have no qualms about reporting those who break the rules in this environment. Some might take issue with that.

I'm all for open discussion, but won't stand for bullying tactics, inflammatory or racist remarks in real life and won't accept them here either. So does this make me an miserable, intolerant old fart? Yes, probably, but hey, what you see is what you get!
