I’m extremely sad, if not altogether unsurprised, to hear the news this evening that police have found two more female bodies close to the village of Levington, near Ipswich, in Suffolk.
Assuming these are the bodies of the two missing women, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls, this brings the total of recently murdered sex-workers in the area to five; a very worrying trend, I’m sure you’ll agree.
I sincerely hope the authorities catch the person/s responsible for these terrible murders and lock whoever away for a very, very long time: it’s a shame the death penalty couldn’t be enforced in cases like this in my view.
My heart goes out to the families of these five poor girls.
