The cost of crude oil has been stable for a change and as a result UK petrol prices took a downward turn as opposed to the usual perpetual increase. So what does our fine Chancellor of the Exchequer do in his Autumn Statement? He sticks an extra 1.25p duty on the price of a litre of petrol at the pump to further stuff the British motoring public. Bloody marvellous!

Civilisation

Is our society getting sicker, or is it just my perception?
Recent news articles have indicated that Britain’s yob culture actively seek Asbos as a ‘badge of honour’.
Terror gangs consisting of early teenagers roam our city streets causing chaos.
Youth gangs have clashed in Glasgow, Bristol and other places, fighting with knives, steel bars, bottles and even Molotov cocktails.
Muggers commit crime ‘for kicks’ and only steal as an after thought.
A fourteen year old caught vandalising a car in Cardiff knifed the thirty year old father of two who attempted to stop him and received just two and a half years detention.I tell you, I’m seriously confused. I thought we were supposed to live in a civilised society? If this is civilisation, I'd rather opt out.
