These are tree stumps; I'd never seen anything quite like them before. Wind and rain has weathered these once mighty trees into some very interesting shapes.

Anyone else ever seen anything like these?

It seems I have to go shopping this morning ...not the usual Saturday morning food-shopping type of shopping ...but the walking around the city trying to avoid all the myriad of other people type of shopping that is such a deadly chore ...hmmmmm... I may be gone some time...

The weather in this part of Wales has been pretty good this last week or so, but down west on Tuesday was a slightly different matter...

How often do you hear the phrase "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence"? Have you ever stopped to question what it actually means?

As far as bees go I don't think it has anything to do with grass at all, but is more a case of "I want what you've got!"

On the other hand, how many bees does it take to rob a thistle of its pollen?
