Just recently my blogpal Munzly asked if he could use one of my images as the basis for the header on his Poppycock blog.

To say that I was flattered would be an understatement and I offered Munzly an image I knocked together, which is now in use:

    poppycock

Anyway it got me thinking... If anyone else out there would like a header made from one of my images I'd be happy to put something together so don't be shy, just get in touch. :)

It's not often you get something for nothing these days is it? ;)

  • It’s a phallus-cy I tells ya!

I hadn’t thought about my recent images as being at all phallic (thank you Munzly  ) but having had that fact pointed out to me I thought I’d go ahead and post number 3 in the series anyway. :>>

    bollards-2

In this case, the phallic similarity is rather more obvious – even to me! I’m not obsessed though... honest!

  • Oh Bollards!

    bollards

Well? What did you expect? :))

  • Hospital Days - Enforced Absence

I wasn’t here much on Tuesday and hardly at all yesterday; more shenanigans with Mum at the local hospital I’m sorry to say. I won’t bore you with all the details. Suffice it to say her GP has wanted her admitted for observation and tests (including a CT scan), but the hospital had other ideas. :?:

I ended up taking her to a hurriedly arranged appointment on Tuesday and we spent several hours just hanging about only to be sent home and told to return yesterday; not amused, believe me. :-/

So yesterday we return and of course the usual nightmare trying to find somewhere to park. More hours hanging about before eventually being assessed. The outcome? They admitted her; there is a God after all.

Well it’s a waiting game for the next few days while the hospital do their stuff, but at least I’ll be able to blog again. :)
