I've had a really interesting day... assuming anyone could find spending the morning being pre-assessed for surgery interesting that is. Still it's over and done now so all I have to do is to wait for the date to drop through my letterbox and I can look forward to getting my bust-gut fixed.

Pro Should be somewhere around a month/six weeks from what they said... routine fix for them so they've had plenty of practice.

Yeh glad to see you back safely Usky, and I hope the op stops the drowning fish syndrome (re next post). Will your bust-gut stop you enjoying xmas dinner? I hope not Usky.

Pro Oh thanks Mum... I'm quite looking forward to 'going under the knife' as bizarre as it sounds... it'll be another little problem sorted out.
It's a cracking castle, Caerphilly... well worth a visit.
will definitely put it on my itinary when I come to have a good old look round Wales one day...

Hope the surgery doesn't mean that you won't be able to go on castle-finding photo trips for a while ... you WILL warn me if one of the weekend teazers after Christmas is a scene from hospital, won't you?

Pro Now there's an idea... I wonder if they'll let me take a camera into theatre with me?
I may be a bit house-bound for a little while, but I dare say I'll manage to escape at some point.
