Have you ever wondered what part of a car is the most durable?

Would it be the bumpers?

The side-impact bars?

The beefed up suspension?

The anti-roll cage?

Well you might've thought the list above would at least be in the running, but hey I'm here to tell you you'd be wrong! At least in the case of a Volkswagen.

This is the final resting place of a VW Golf GTi... a nice shiny black one... until some fool decided to torch it!

As you can see, the car obviously burned well... the tyres are all gone... the seats and interior were burned to a crisp... bits of melted metal strewn on the ground...

The only thing still recognisable was the VW badge. I propose therefore the most durable part of a car is the manufactures trade mark!

A frosty morning...

I love it when the weather is like this... unlike today, which is just damp and grey in my part of the world. Oh well, at least it isn't raining.
