  • Ancient & Modern

When I was a young chorister we almost always sang from the Ancient & Modern... I assume it is sill used in today's church, but it's many years since I last attended so can't be sure.

I'm a confirmed heathen these days, but I'm sure there's a lot of mileage to be had in going into the whys and wherefores here this morning...

Sorting through a few batches of old images though I came across this picture of a wooden footbridge over the Thames at Henley... and it reminded me of my old hymnal.

  • Sunday reflections

It amazes me how some folk seem to find it all but impossible to find an original title for their blog posts... still each to his own I suppose. ;)

As it's a Sunday I thought I'd start the day with a less ropey old boat or two...

A lick of paint and a little sunshine go a long way towards a brighter day, don't you think?
