I've been back to the hospital this morning... a follow-up with the urology people so nothing to do with last week's op.
Seems I have an enlarged prostate... something else to get sorted out then... I suppose someone has the keep the NHS fully employed! 
I wonder what else I/we/they can find to fiddle with? Bound to be something....

Ah, my father had one of them. It's very common, but a right bugger if you have to keep getting up in the night.
And often when you get there, although you feel as if your bladder is bursting, you can't bloody wee!
I believe there are things they can do to help these days.

Pro It's the constant hopping out of bed in the middle of the middle of the night and the sudden "Oh my God, I need to pee... and I need to pee NOW!" feeling that're the worst. They've prescribed me some new meds and are going to keep an eye over the next six months. Surgery as a last resort...

Oh Usky becareful there with those UK's doctors! We all know what they have been doing to our dearly friend Ed/Wensum! Now..only now!!!!!..they found he has his neck fractured too and needs another op.!!!!!!!!!!!!
