...has lost his trike.
The river mud on this tidal section of the River Usk is notorious; people have been known to sink up to the waist and get themselves trapped... must be a horrible way to die, waiting and watching as the river rises as high tide...

Thanks Usky, yes, I've used blockquote this morning for the first time, woohoo! The sub- and sup- text are very helpful too, 1/2 never looks right for .5, and the function 'Word' suggests has never worked for me, so very grateful thanks Usky.
Hope you are ok today. How did you do for sleep last night? Hope things are still going in the right direction.
BTW, would you mind emailing me a place you'd like to meet. We don't really know what sort of thing you'd like to do, could walk over the bridge to Ashton Court for the trees and house if it's bright, or stay this side for the zoo for the animals, or look around Clifton itself for the architecture, whatever you fancy. Only thing is we'd likely not get to you till about 11am, maybe could try for ten-ish, I'll check again with M, but is that ok? I know you like an early start but earlier than that might be difficult for us.
