    Well I was thinking of maggots really, used to see my brother and his friends baiting hooks, horrid, why do boys like such yukky things?
    
    But this guy is by the sea by the look of it, so more likely rag-worm or something I guess. Do they have eyes? I've never looked into them...

      Rag worm or lug worm in use here I'd have thought... but no idea with regard the eyes question.
