This bridge is at Merthyr Mawr Tylluan... you can park your car and walk beside the river, but it might be a good idea to choose a dry spell so the path isn't too muddy.

Yes, I recognise it now! The castle and village that were covered by the sands! When I was very young I remember finding a Stone Age flint down there.... wonderful place!

I wondered.... I wasn't aware there was a 'lost' village there though and will have to go and explore more.
