Click the link for "larger map" and you should see directions between the M48 and Landogo Road. If you zoom in on point B and look in the field above you should see a horseshoe shaped structure by a hedge - look carefully... that's the well.

Thanks Usky - sorry I didn't reply earlier but I've had a lot of problems getting pages to load.... I am definitely going to try and visit this place. Do you know there are similar raggedy trees (with accompanying wells) all over Europe, including Greece?

No problem, I know BCUK has been having a hissy fit...
I wasn't aware there were raggedy trees all over Europe, no. I've seen a couple here in the UK... and one very interesting spring that had offerings surrounding it.

That is so amazing - I would love to visit it one day! Rag trees were used traditionally in magical healing - is the site anywhere near the standing stones at Trellech - do you have any advice for finding the well, because I would really love to see it!
