Good morning bloggers. 
Yes I know it's Monday and most of you are not feeling much like it today, but the sun is shining and the skies are blue... 
I know I seem to have posted images of this bridge several times in the past... but I think this is the first time from the English side of the river...
...this is the sight that greets you arriving at the bottom of Tutshill, Chepstow.

Pro Chepstow (Casgwent in Welsh) is the first town you'll find on crossing the England/Wales border on the southern route.
Interestingly (or perhaps not) Chepstow used to have a small shipyard, now owned by Fairfield Maybe, where the deck sections of the original Severn bridge (now the M48 bridge) were built.
The town is probably best known for its castle... lots of pictures on my blog of that and of other bits of Chepstow too.

Pro My weather station says it is going to rain here... but there's no sign of it as yet so I'm just hoping....

Pro The sun is shining here - for about two minutes at a time, followed by heavy rain. Same old, same old.....

Pro There have been a few sharp showers and it's not been exactly warm, but it is nice to see the sun.
