They are lovely.

I wondered if they might be part of the campanula family, but I didn't think the leaves were right... that said, my knowledge of plants isn't great so I could easily be wrong. -

It's a campanula yes - we have lots here too.
The little round yellowish leaves belong to another plant: the name of which escapes me just now. That has tiny mauve and yellow flowers a bit like antirrhinum. Got it: Ivy leaf toadflax. Now I won't have to lie there tonight trying to remember!-
