I've had a lovely day today....

I haven't had a day out for ages

But today I had a lovely day out....

And with a lovely lady too......

Oh dear.... should I admit to having had a day out with a woman of the opposite sex?

Well look anyway... I'm not going to tell you who it was I had a lovely day out with, so just accept I had a lovely day out...

While we were out and about I spotted this wonderful old Tudor house....

With wonderful old Tudor timbers...

And just look at the detail on the end of the beam...

What a wonderful little face isn't it?

Happy little chappie, huh?

This used to be a very important site many years ago...

There would have been buildings here once, though very little evidence of the structures remain now. There is plenty of evidence to indicate what the site was used for though.

I wonder how many of you can guess what industry stood here in the 16^th & 17^th centuries?
