We had our cup of coffee and continued to perambulate around Stow...

There are some lovely bits of architecture in the town...

And of course the Cotswold stone always looks so picturesque...

Stow is blessed with an abundance of tea and coffee houses to compliment the post houses, pubs and hotels...

Stow also boasts (debatable point here) the oldest inn in England...

I recently arranged to meet a blog friend for a mutual day out in Gloucestershire. As we were coming from different directions and she was travelling by train, we agreed to meet at Cheltenham station.

I arrived early and wandered down to the platform...

A few minutes later my friend's train arrived...

We drove to our first port of call for a mooch around and coffee...

I know some of you will recognise this as Stowe-on-the-Wold.

Somehow we seemed to find our way to the local constabulary...

Perhaps the gods were trying to tell us something!
