Good morning Blogland. 
I've posted Newport's controversial wave sculpture previously and thought I'd revisit it briefly today.
This is one of those pieces of modern art you either love or hate... that said the wave has grown on me over the years.
I thought I'd give it a new twist, so to speak...

Pro It took me quite a long time to accept it... but now I find I rather like it.

The trouble with this sort of art is that its entertainment value is so limited. All artistic appreciations can be exhausted in a couple of minutes. I suppose there's the changes of light etc. to extend the interest a little, but its still a bit of a yawn. Not like a Canaletto painting, where you can spend half a lifetime finding new things to enjoy.

It took me years to appreciate how much the changes in light and cloud cover change the way the wave appears. I think I've exhausted it now though!
