Since I haven't been out with a camera for a while I've nothing new to show you folks... hence the outdated images I've posted here recently.
This morning's image isn't 'new' either, although you won't have seen it before...
Personally I'm not keen on this sort of thing, but I know a lot of people like to decorate graves with all kinds of odd things.
The figures used here are kind of cute though, don't you think?

Pro Must mean something to the family - always difficult when some authorities object to such things - you can really see both sides. Someone we know was asked to remove a tree planted in memory of her mother- you could see why, as the tree began to grow bigger.

Pro It's a bit sad when memorial trees out-grow their surroundings isn't it? Unfortunately people don't always realise how large a tree will grow.
Its kinda sweet...in a tacky way! I dont like seeing dried/plastic flowers on graves.... i see it as a ''Cant be bothered '' kinda thing...But that is just my opinion...
We take it in turns to attend the graves.. always seems to be my turn, but i love doing it... i find it quite relaxing to be honest..strange aint i!! xx

Pro I agree whole-heartedly, unless the grave is only attended by someone old/infirm who cannot make regular visits.
Not so strange Milly... I find graveyards relaxing places and often commune with the departed.

Pro The figures are cute but even if it's for a young child - it still strikes me as odd to put Christmas figurines on a grave. 
One (Christmas celebrations = joy) just doesn't go with the other (death = sadness, loss).
Or maybe I just have too much Roman Catholic in me still ...

Pro The only thing I can think of in mitigation of the figures; may be the family were celebrating the life of their child through the Christmas period? Seems like an odd thing to do though.

Why are Christmas decorations still on a grave in August? I find that really sad; to think no one has visited since December! Silk flowers are a upgrade to plastic flowers and they offer the visitor some comfort when returning in the bleaker months that there is some colour to see and that the grave is cared for.
To loose a child is beyond unbearable but to put toys, ornaments or artifacts offers some comfort in the darkest hour
