I was just passing through having posted one of my weekend teasers and thought I'd stop to dip a toe in the water...

All good cooks keep their working area clean.

Ah - my cooking working area is always immaculate. I dare not leave the kitchen otherwise.
But, there is a little used sink where I store my dishes until I've got enough to wash, if I'm not home alone but been eating alone and I've not really been rumbled on that one. Yet.
I do dislike wasting hot water just to wash a mug, a teaspoon and a plate when I'm on my own, so I pile then up and do one wash a day when I've done the cooking.

I've only ever caught 5 minutes of the programme once, and then rushed away at the saccharine sweetness of it.
I mean, hardly realistic is it? A village where everybody knows everyone else? In this day and age? I don't even know my neighbours never mind the butcher and the baker!
