Those of us old enough to remember the original Flowerpot Men are sure to remember Bill & Ben's special friend, the smiley faced Little Weed...
I wonder whether the writers ever considered the possibility of weeds as tall as maize plants?

Pro Too bad that we are so dependent on money. If that weren't the case, weed or wild herbs wouldn't be that much of a problem for farmers. But since money matters, weeds do reduce their harvest (= income) quite significantly.

Some so-called weeds have very beautiful flowers though; foxglove, bluebells and wild primroses being just three examples...a field of dandelions can look quite spectacular too.
