On holiday in Greece a couple of years ago, I had a close relationship with some of the local wildlife. Here's a little guy who came to visit the bathroom one morning...
Cute ain't he?
He stayed for three or four days, then just vanished...

It's always nice to see our own native lizards, but they seem so few and far between these days they rarely get spotted.

I once saw a lizard on some rocks up on the moors; they are rather rare though.

We have all three native lizards in this part of Wales, although it's pretty rare to see a common lizard here. I'm sure there were more around when I was a kid, or maybe I'm just not so eagle-eyed these days.
