I sleep almost every day... ever since I've been on the anti-depressants an afternoon nap has been a necessity. Okay I'm not saying each and every day, but most days...

That's why you can't sleep at night, Usky...vicious circle...can you try to break that habit but waking yourself up when you start to feel tired? Anti-depressants can be useful but they must be very strong if they send you to sleep almost every afternoon...maybe now that you've retired you won't need such strong ones...hope you get your life back again, Usky, and your sleep patterns get sorted soon as well...GBHs...XXX

Bizarrely, the days I sleep well in the afternoon I generally sleep at night too. I think it's a relaxation thing. Thanks for the good wishes Jen.

But the thistle is so pretty when it blooms, but are a dreadful weed to get rid of in the garden.

There's something very regal about a thistle when it blooms.
