I already live here. An advert is always welcome, but is there a special reason for it?

Avrilo is very near to me, about 20 miles away.
Tom.

Well the good news (or the bad) is that I only live over the border in Shropshire. I visit Wales all the time. I love the coast between Barmouth and Aberystwyth and Hubby and I often take Dawg for a dip in Lake Vernwy. We love it!! I also adore Pembrokeshire, but it's a little bit far for a weekend walk.

Ahhh Shropshire... I had a good friend who moved to Lillishall(??) some years back. We lost touch and I haven't seen him since!

Lillishall is a lovely little village. Only about 5 miles from me. In fact I must take dawg for a walk there sometime.

Really? Somewhere near Newport isn't it?
Next time you visit, try shouting for Garry!
-
- Wednesday, 24. Sep, 2008 @ 20:17:34
Well! coincidentally I worked in Newport until November last year. It's a nice little town. Tell ya what. I'll go there at the weekend and wander up and down the high street shouting Garry. No really, I would love to take a bet on how many times I could do it. Knowing Newport, maybe one or one and a half times before I'm nicked!!

Read something amusing today...Londoners are among the most unhelpful people in the UK, and the Welsh are the worst...from our experience, sadly, I can verify that, but not the Londoners one...every time I've been to London and have got on a crowded bus, somebody has got straight up and offered me their seat...I was so impressed...first city where that has happened in the world and really so grateful that it was in the city of my birth that it happened...
I'm sure there are lovely people in Wales, you and Tom for example, we just didn't meet many at all on our visit...LOL...GBHs...XX-
