Before I trolled off to Portugal I took a walk around one of my favourite Newport parks to capture some of the autumn colours...
I always love the colours at this time of year, don't you?

Very pretty...but bad year really for Autumn colours...so many trees haven't turned...their leaves have just died and fallen off around here...very strange...GBHs...XX

The maples do seem to change and they add wonderful colour, but I don't know what's happening to our common deciduous trees...most strange...GBHs...XX

I guess it depends on the location and species; there were some grand colours here.
