Nice photo. There has been a truly beautiful display this year, particularly the beech and hawthorn leaves. Alas, just as the flowering cherry tree in my garden turned a spectacular red, all that rain and wind knocked off the leaves before I could get a photo.

We had our leaf show a couple of months ago and it was glorious. What is even more exciting is leaf turning time in the province of Quebec where they have so many sugar maple tree's. If you ever get a chance come on over and see, the leaves are a bright scarlet and so amazing.

Maples have really glorious colours don't they? I'd love to visit Canada sometime to explore the lakes and mountains and to see the fall colours.
