Good morning everyone, hope you're all feeling bright and chirpy today?

I've just spent the last half hour or so looking back through pictures from my recent visit to Portugal... then it occurred to me to share a few more of them with you lot... after all, it's been a week or since I last bored you with any!

One of my all time favourite bits of (rock) music has to be Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven and I was reminded of it when walking along my beach...

I saw these steps built against the cliff and thought how wonderful it was for someone to have built them so people could easily access the heavenly paradise of my beach.

Naturally I was forced to climb the staircase and experience the view from the top.

While the beach is wonderful, the tree-lined cliff top and the foot path looked pretty special too... one day I'm going to return and walk that pathway.

But back to my beach...

Standing on the cliff edge, you get an amazing view of this glorious stretch of sand and ocean.

Time for breakfast I think...
