No doubt about it, as days go I've had worse.
On the other hand I've also had better.
Oh well... just take the positives and move on.

Goodness me, a Standard 8 from about 1955. What terrible cars they were, but cheap to buy. Never owned one, but overtook a lot of them on hills.....
The grass tended to grow on them even when they were new, and even when going along.

Pro Somehow I knew you'd know all about this old beast... I was trying to identify it and thought initially it was an Austin, but knew I was wrong when I came across a Standard 10 and saw the similarities.
